So, added this to the stable yesterday. I am the third owner. 1953 S7 Deluxe. Box file of reciepts and in very tidy condition. Lovely looking thing chuffed to bits.
I've always thought of Sunbeams as a bit mad. Why would you put one AIR COOLED cylinder BEHIND another AIR COOLED cylinder, irrespective of the (arguable) benefits re the shaft drive drive train?..........Probably just me
Dig it out and get some photographs. Get it valued and sell it on here John. I've sold several motorcycles, good watches and cameras on here with no problem
Your post did make my head spin a little. My mate who took the Sunbeam over from me never did anything to it, for he was doing an old Rover up. It languished in their shed or garage a while and then he died suddenly. We were each others 'Best Man' some years before. His son Jonathon has been in touch with me to find more about his father for he was only young when he died. I don't know what happened to the Sunbeam, it could still be in his mothers shed for all I know!
