Sunday 2nd May - Brekky at the Ponderosa

Well,after last night`s downpour of near biblical proportions,today has dawned fairly pleasantly,so I`ll be taking Glambabe out later this morning.

We`re going to be having brekky in the Pondrosa about 10am and then toodling down to Llangollen to browse around and go into the fab 'Cafe Bookshop' which is a cafe downstairs with the upstairs area like a rabbit warren and brimming with 2nd hand books.

Our route home in the afternoon will be via the Horseshoe Pass again,so it`d be rude not to pop back into the Ponda for a coffee and a slab of cake.

We`ll be on my beloved green Ural so if you see us come and say hello.

spent most of it tooling around caldy 7s with a whistle though!

am taking my brother and some of his biker mates there next week for his 'Stag do' motorcycle trip.

should be fun -Derby - Ponderosa - lake Vyrnwy - Welshpool (castle careinion village hall is start/ finish of Welsh rally on 8th) Shrewsbury - Derby.
