Mrs Sooty and I are up for a run out, I dont fancy a long drive up north Just to ride back past home so I would prefer to meet up with you, Devils bridge, Skipton or similar within that area would be fine for us. Otley cafe would be best but thats because a £2.00 bacon buttie with tea is just about my budget.
Chris&Beth will be leaving Leeds at about 10am and riding up via Skipton. If anyone wants to meet up Squires would be as good a starting point as any - just drop us a pm or post on here.
If you are riding to Skipton Via Otley its easier to pick us up at the Riverside café. Squires is 180 deg opposite our home in Horsforth, a 60 mile round trip.
By any route SatNav says the time from Sherburn to Otley is 25 mins so we will be at the Café from 10.20 on wards.
The Riverside café (Dunnies) is easy to find. Take the A659 from Harewood through Pool to Otley. You will come to a second set of traffic lights on a staggered cross roads, the market square is on your left. Take the right turn and after two 90 deg bends will see a bridge over the river Wharfe. Dunnies is on your right before the bridge.
I have sent you my mobile number in case you change your plans.

Thanks for organising the Yorkshire contingent Beth. I enjoyed a run out with new people and riding styles. Not too fast with enough time to socialise, just how I like my days out. The lads from the North East must have had a long day though, The run they did usually has an overnight stay for me.
I hope we meet again sometime for another run, lets hope the ride outs take off again in this region, Im out every weekend Saturday and Sunday, usually with a group of friends or my wife, but if anybody is interested they are welcome to tag along. Send me a personal message here if interested.
Thanks for a good run out people, great to meet new people and see and learn new routes that I haven't seen before. Thanks to Beth for initiating it all, Martin for leading early in the day and Rob for later in the day.
Good to meet you, sorry I couldn't stay longer but I reckon I made the right choice in going back. My dodgy elbow was playing up by the time I got home.
Will keep in touch and hopefully see you again soon.
