Having my first run out of the new year tomorrow. Don't know where I'm going but the weather forecast is reasonable so why not. I will be visiting squires on the way for a coffee or two.
I will attempt to post a pic or two of my ride should I remember to take the camera.

Been out on my 1200 bandit today, steady away as roads are bit greasy around Thirsk, York, Helmsley, Stokesley..etc..
Enjoy:clap

Not long after posting I then remembered about seaways in fridaythorpe so am probably going to go there

ive had to work today, and ime back at work tonight or else i would have gone for a ride,

i will be out plenty in the near future so look i forwards to some good rides :beerjug:

Quite busy there today. A few GS riders there as well. One bloke taking pictures did ask how I kept my 1150 GSA so clean. I told him I brought it in a van that was parked round the corner.
Plenty of sports bikes there too, I'd have thought it was too cold and damp for em today.
With a bit more planning maybe a ride out from seaways could be sorted. I don't know many roads round there but I'm sure some on here will have some recommendations.

It was as it was sunny when I left Leeds so surprised at the fog near York. Thankful for my Oxford heated vest on the return journey :)
Cawood bridge was still closed where I met 2 lost GSers - led them to the Selby by-pass.
Squires was as busy as a warm spring evening! Eh? what happened today?

I planned on hitting squires on the way home but got talking to a gser. Turned out he was pals with my old boss from years ago. Talk about small world.
I did almost turn back when I hit the fog (yes I know, wuss) but battled through for a bacon buttie at the cafe

Nice to see the sun for a change :bow

We went to The Lion at Blakey Ridge on the North yorks Moors for lunch and had sone nice clean dry roads, some wet/slimy ones and low cloud/fog in a few places. It was 12 degrees by the time we got back to Keighley. Pity it takes ages to clean the bike properly though after winter rides.
