Sunday run - Squires to Alston.

Beth & I are leaving Squires at 12.00 sharp. Short run up the A1 (M) to Leeming Bar and across to Leyburn, Reeth, Barnard Castle, Middleton in Teesdale, Alston.
Meeting up with Borderraider en route and there will be a stop off somewhere for a coffee and a natter.

Open invite, fantastic scenery and some nice roads.

tried to PM you but failed. Setting off from home as there is a big event on at Squires this weekend. If you can make it here for say 11.30 the coffee is better and free - otherwise we will call in at Savilles garden centre on the A63 at 12.10 to see if you are there.

Thanks for today Chris, cracking roads, shame we had to leave early, got home just in time to go to work don't know if you know the road but where we left you at Alston it was a cracking run down to Penrith with a bikers cafe at the top, didn't catch name, maybe next time?

Hartside Pass and Hartside cafe and where you to go a bit further from Hartside towards Penrith a great cafe at Melmerby Bakery. But Hartside Cafe is hard to beat.

PS a bunch of us waited for you all in Middleton at 2 pm

Just back cracking roads weather and company really enjoyed it today, sorry i lost yer Chris and Beth had yer in my mirrors at top cliffe wondered if Al had a rest bite at the crab n lobster pub so turned back but could nt see yers all ill stop typing now my foods arrived

Dave, I wasn't sure Beth had seen me turn so popped back. As posted she had taken the slip to the A1 so I headed that way too.
