having struggled to find sunglasses that were totally comfortable inside my helmet I think I have found the answer.
I was down at a firearms/range convention and gotmtalking to a sunglasses guy. He gave me a pair of bolle polaroid range glasses to try. Magic and so comfortable. The reason being, they are designed to fit through ear defenders without breaking the seal and as such fit effortlessly inside the helmet. The polaroid glasses themselves are super to ride with as well
I told him he was missing a trick with the motorcycle fraternity.
If anyone wants a set pm me and I can order them up. They work out at 20 quid. He wont deal with the public.

Sounds good, pic would be useful. I have a system 6 helmet with the built in visor which I'm absolutely loving, but I'm always on the look out for reasonable priced decent shades as I have a habit of losing them, which is irritating when they're expensive.

Rayban aviators do the same. Because they are used under a headset, the legs are very thin strong wire. You just don't notice they are there.
Great lenses, top quality but you pay the price for them.
Would like to see these.
Should say I have a large head. I could'nt get a system 6 to fit.
And I was desperate to get one for the sun visor.

Should also add that you can often get Randolf Aviator glasses (us military issue) from army surplus places at a good price. I paid about £20 for mine a few years ago. Designed with straight earpieces to fit under a flying helmet, I used to use them under my crash helmet and also when flying under my headset.

I'm on my second set, the first lot got pinched with my car. I did a swop with an F16 driver as he thought our ones were better (they weren't) mine have the AGX lenses and there great.

The guy was a vendor at the event, a bolle rep. Not my mate by the way. I am struggling to put an image on but will email photo to whoever wants it. I will check the model of the glasses today but having looked at the bolle site im unsure if theyn are there, but I could be wrong

Multiple snap in lenses of various tints, the arms are nice and thin and they're shooting glasses so they'll deflect a bullet at fourty paces ( well, they're pretty tough anyway)

Pretty cheap too at about £25.

i got a pair of the solis in clear lenses off fleabay. They cost 4-5 pounds. they work so well with the tour-x, i'm going to order the dark lenses version and retire the oakleys.

so i use hardware store protective safety glasses for $15 these days

Except that they're unlikely to darken when worn with a helmet with the visor down.

I just ordered this Bene sunglasses. I ride a motorbike in summer and my friend recommended me these sunglasses as they are quite good for wearing under the helmet.

I can recommend Serengeti sunglasses.

They have lens technology tending to be some years ahead of all the other brands - all the time.

I have used Serengeti for some decades by now and everytime I try other top rated brands, they feel...................just wrong.

I wear a pair of these in a sort of blue colour the fit is good under my tour x they are about £7.50 from a BOC Tradeshop they sell them as saftey specs
I got them for work but have been using them to play out
