Sunglasses

I no longer use glasses on the bike since getting my schuberth concept with built in sun visor. Vision doesn't seem distorted and I can turn my glasses on or off at the slide of a lever, it's quite liberating not having to think about sunglasses when setting off and being able to turn them on or off when needed. Having the chin piece up doesn't effect it either. Might be worth a punt if you were also thinking of changing helmets?

never even noticed the sun visor until the sales guy showed me.
all helmets should come with them fitted as standard.
great when touring through the alps etc. dark through the tunnel and bright sunlight the next minuet..

that my friends is the best tip on this whole site - and one of the cheapest! they are awesome. i have many oakley glasses. they are always getting lost, broken, etc. i like to wear glasses all the time, for safety mainly. for the price of one pair of oakleys i have many many pairs of these in three colours.

Funnily enough, I've already got a Schuberth, and the sun visor is indeed very good. Unfortunately for me, I still can't wear contact lenses under the lid, even with the visor down, as the draught dries them out and they quickly become uncomfortable and start trying to pop out
