Was perusing that American forum when I came across this. It's not for the squeamish so if you're of a delicate disposition I suggest you look away.

Apparently the guy has used a standard 12GS rear wheel and shoved a 12ST front on it so the wheels don't even bloody match.
Me, I'd buy a GSA for it's rugged, go anywhere good looks - not bastardise it like this. I know each to his own and all that but please.....

Maybe he wanted more torque and got a smaller wheel for that reason...

or maybe the top speed scared him and wanted to go slower without releasing the throttle...

either way he is a FOOL!

Each to their own but I can't see the point of doing this to any type of GS.

I had 17s fitted on mine becuase i wanted the style ,presence and abililties of the GS but as a Road Bike.I have no interest in off roading so had my bike as i wanted it.I've tried a Megamoto but although it is a brilliant machine,it is not as complete a package as my GS in its' current trim.
