from a point of complete ignorance what is the simplest way to turn the x challenge into a supermotard

x challenge hubs laced to new rims but its not going to be cheap

also the hubs are rare to find second hand.

You'll also need a bracket to space out the front calliper for the bigger disc.....or use Xmoto forks if you're using an Xmoto front wheel.

The cheapest way is to find 17" wheels that more or less fit (haven't a clue what'll work with a Xchallenge, sorry) and then make up spacers to fit.

You may want to play with gearing (sprockets) as well......oh and dropping the forks 10-15mm in the yokes to speed up the steering often pays dividends.

From reading every post i could find about doing this the only way i seen or read about it is with x challenge hubs

I was going to do this and had intended using KTM forks and front wheel, caliper etc and had got hold of a 950 super enduro 17" rear wheel, but i never got around to puting it all together. The ABS on my bike put me off a bit as well, seemed to add to the hassle.I sold the bike and eventually sold the rear wheel, still got the forks if you want to give it a go?
