super pro av1 interference problem

has anyone got any advice ,took autocom off my1200gs and fitted it on a k1200 lt and now its ok until i start the engine and then i get ticking interference ,i have a zumo fitted but it still does it with the zumo removed .Can anyone help with some advice please.:)
 
Please confrim that the negative terminal of the Autocom is wired directly to the negative terminal of the battery and also describe where the positive is taken from and whether you have used a soldered joint or not.

hi, yes earth from battery and + feed via a relay controling my autocom and satnav.sounds like fast ticking and not whinin noise like you would have with alternator .

Hi ,took your advice and found him very helpfull .And hey presto what he said worked .interference coming from bike radio input cable causing the noise repositioned and ok now:)

Result! I thought that might be it but there is nothing like asking a real expert - and he is located in Wales.

Sam used to work for Autocom and is a first-class bloke.
