Dunno why but I took some snaps of my bike today and thought I'd show her off a bit to the world

Bought her in 1995, and have been all around the world on her really

Not much original left as everytime something falls off, it gets replaced so most years a wheel or an engine or something gets replaced

Happy days

cool bike and dog too :thumb2

actually the dog is a freekin' idiot and if he doesn't stop licking the exhaust, then he's going on Ebay.

but the bike will definately stay forever

cheers

had one of these a few years ago with a yoshimura exhaust, best sounding bike ive ever had. Shouldnt have sold it but the policeman was kinda of insistent and you never know when youll want a friendly one

My partner has a 660 Tenere and loves it, she rode alone it to the south of France and Switzerland last October:clap

paint

i only painted it white because i crashed it big time on a graded road out in the Middle East a few years ago - the panels were battered and after a bit of ingenious repair work by a friend, we thought that with summer temperatures occasionally hitting 50 degrees C, anything to help keep the bike and rider cooler was a good idea

it seems that only the rozzers have white bikes these days and of course some 1150 GS Adventures and I reckon white is a much underused colour in the design department

That's a cracking S10.
the rear brakes looked modified, what's the story?
Cheers

The story is that we did about the last 1000 miles to Cape Town with virtually no pads in the back brake and the disc ended the trip a bit upset.

I replaced the disc, I think it's aftermarket, but apart from that, the rear brake is OE

cheers for the complimentary comments everyone - I am so pleased that I haven't ever been minded to sell the bike after all the big trips - it's fun to own a bike over many many years that evolves over time.

Hi Turnipbmw,

Try the chaps on the Yahoo Group for the XTZ 750 (i'm one of the mods on there) or try the Superten Bulletin boards, might be a better Idea.
