Surefoot torque settings

Newbie to the forum and airheads here.

I want to replace the original sidestand with a Surefoot side stand.

I can't find any torque values anywhere for this side stand.

Can anyone help with recommended torque values please?

I doubt you’ll get an official figure. Just tighten it until it feels right. Or, if you prefer, 65Nm

My old tutor at Merton Technical College would say “ Up to shear and back a half”.

I think ‘gutentight’ would be sufficient
