Hi All , just wanted to share my experience so maybe something useful will come out! 2 weeks ago I heard my TB rattling like a sewing machine and decided to change the bushes etc. so I ordered Dan's kit and after receiving the kit I set to install them(btw other that the kit is great, dan is a helpful guy which will answer your questions quickly!!) anyway my r1150 was running beautifully before i took the TB off.. I put everything back and in short made a mess of tuning!! Took the limping bike to my mechanic and he tuned it for me.. Better but still not in its best setup! So I began looking for all sorts of electrickery to resolve my surging problem! Then a friend of mine told me that if the bike was running fine before, there is no need for extra addins! Finally I took a chance again myself and even if the carbtune was showing correct settings, i tightened the left Tb a few turns, voila bike is as good as before! Moral of the story.. Surging= bad settings, no specual aftermarket will make magic! A good tune up is all that is needed! Hope it helps! And thanks for reading
