plans coming together

Guys, a few more details for Sunday.

We'll be heading off from Ash at 10:00 and we'll have about 15mins of riding to get to the first lane so please come with a full tank. There are two or three places on the ride where we can get fuel so no one should go short.

At a good pace this ride takes 4 hours (Approx 110 miles) so with a lunch stop and a bit of faffing around :augie we should be done in under 6 hours, so back to Ash before 4:00pm.

For those with Sat Nav's I've attached the route that we'll be following.

As a reminder the Start and finish spot is here:
http://www.streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?x...f+Ash,+Surrey+[City/Town/Village]&searchp=ids.srf&mapp=map.srf

Ash Hill Road, Ash, Surrey (nr. Aldershot, Hants)
Approx. GPS co-ordinates:
N51drg15.337m
W0drg42.981m

It's just off (1 1/2 miles) the A31 between Gulidford and Farnham or the A331 at Aldershot.

Super job... I am picking RDub up in the van and will then trot down, bike is ready to go .... the tyres are a bit shot but I want to wait until the Tarrenig before putting the new stuff on .... shouldnt be an issue thought.... I do carry enough ballast to get traction....:augie

cracking day out

thankks for a great days riding :thumb2

hope the two fallers are feeling ok.

Thanks again for a great outing Jarv - even if I did only manage half of it! I'm now off to Sailors lane to attack some o those steps with a sledgehammer!! Good to meet ya'll :thumb2

A big :thumb2 to Si for organising yesterdays ride. It certainly was fast & furious and not without incidents or casualties.

I hope Matt and the the other guy who's name I don't know but did a spectactular cartwheel down the hill and dislocated his thumb are ok.

Thanks again.

Phil

Good to hear you're not permanently damaged... see you in Wales next month.

Jarv

Thanks Jarv
Great day :clap:clap:clap:clap:clap

Harv went to A and E when he got back, looks like he is going to have to have a couple of pins in his Thumb,
I think he was more pissed off that he trashed his Bike.

Ouch...

Thanks Jarv

Pins in his thumb.... bloody hell, I'm surprised the man wasn't crying like a baby.... tough bugger:D

Hopefully the bike just needs a few plastics and a bit of TLC :blast

Hi Jarv - great day! and I'm chuffed I managed to stay on my DRZ ..... well most of the time :-)

Thanks also to Todd for keeping an eye on me at the back.

Harv thought he'd discolated his thumb - I told him he hadn't and I was right! We got back to the van without incident - thanks for everybody's support.

..........till next time !!!!

:postpics

I hope you two guys are OK!

Greg

It wasn't a bimble Greg, more like a mad dash.......... We didn't have time to stop for photo's. The RAMBLIARS were positively leaping out of the way. ;)

Even those that crashed didn't get a picture taken of them........was funny seeing Mat rolling about on the deck trying to get from under his bike. :D
