Although we did get a bit of rain, it was altogether drier than forecast. However, the trails were a bit too soft for an 1150 on Tourances!

:mmmm

Still, most had another cracking day - including riding down (and up!!) the biggest steps I've ever done!!

Thanks to Jarv for leading the way!!

Too soft for Tourances - Guys what an understatement. I knew I might be in the sticky stuff when you all turned up on crossers!!!!

Despite the problems with my front tyre having the grip factor of jelly, I had a good time and it was nice meeting you all - such pleasent people. Ah!!

Bike survived the four off's and I only have 1 massive bruise as long as you don't count the one on my ego!!!

Her indoors has already granted permission to buy an enduro so I can play!!!! Anyone got a cheap DR?

I'm sure I will see you again.

Bruised ego?

Anyone with the bollocks to take an 1150GSA along some of those trails neddn't worry about a bruised ego!!

Respect!

Thanks to all those that turned up; including the chap who just happened to pitch up to Newlands at 10.00am on Saturday :thumb, I had a fab day.

For those interested in going out next Saturday, I'm sorry but it's looking less and less likely that I'll be able to make it - we're moving house on the 29th so there's a lot of packing to do :(

If anyone else is interested in leading the ride let me know and I'll let you have the route (or may be even show you - Tues or Wed evening) - sorry, don't have a GPS track log of it yet.

If no one else posts another ride I'll try and get out to do it 23rd or 30th September.

cheers

Simon
