Somehow I have misplaced my user manual.
Could someone please scan the pages (in English) which deal with suspension adjustment & either post here or email at [email protected] .
Next week I am riding across Australia.
About 10000km round trip.
I have a bit of luggage on the back so would like ot make her as stable as possible.
Will try to keep you posted on the journey.

I've had a look through the manual and all I would say is don't fret you're not missing anything.

If you REALLY want the info let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Hi Dolphin,
You can drop round and have a look at mine if you want - I'm in Lindfield. Don't have a scanner handy...
But the short version is for normal road riding - one up...
Set the front spring preload tension on 3 up from soft.
Set the rear 10 clicks clockwise up from soft
Set the rear shock absorber adjustment (small screw on other side of bike from rear spring preload knob) one and a half turns up from soft.
Obviously if you have a lot of weight on everything will have to be adjusted up more firmly. But personal preference and black arts take over from here. The sidetrack article on 12 gs mods posted here yesterday had a couple of interesting things to say about settings too...
If you want clarification give me a bell on 9880 8601.
Good luck
