Ok, my rear shock on my gsa is goosed. I've now come to accept this instead of kidding myself that the grinding noise on rebound was in my head
Looking at various options from a second hand replacement/refurb or a new item.
Are Ohlins the same height as standard after sag etc. Read a post on here (can't find it now) suggesting that they are 1.5" higher than stock. Now I understand they'll be higher due to less sag but 1.5" is a bit much. I've also read other posts suggesting 0.25" - 0.5" higher.
Also after speaking to various outlets I've been recommended a 210Nm spring on the rear and a 70Nm spring on the front. Maybe a little high not sure. The max load might be around 200-220kg when I'm pillioned up little kit. 180kgs me + enough kits to last me a year.
