Hello folks, my relatively low mileage 05 plate GSA has developed a mild clunking noise when you depress the rear suspension. For example if you sit on it with both feet on the ground and bounce gently on the seat it makes the noise then. I can't hear it on the move but I wear an Arai lid and plugs so I don't hear much. It seems to coming from around the bellows between the outer shaft drive housing and the rear axle.
Any advice greatly appreciated.

You might want to inspect your drive shaft, paralever pivots or final drive bearings. Either way, if you are concerned, it could save you some unecessary expense.

Pivot bearing play? Lift the bike on to the centre stand and check for rear wheel play. If not that, check the paralever arm. I'm guessing they are the same as the airheads and have a bush at the front of the arm, it may be fubar, but my money is on the pivot bearing.
