can someone explain the suspension on this bike plse - confused

Jeh thats a r1100 swing arm with a cental mounted rear schock lots of them floating aboute it gives you longer suspension travel

I was gone buy a frame with this set up a couplel of monhes ago ! I supose its the same fit uther wise you macke it fit ��

Fitting the 1100/1150 swinging arm is the easy bit. The hard part is sorting out the offset in the back wheel.

is that less of an issue if you use a 80/100GS final drive? Assume lack of disk makes the wheel sit naturally further right.

Adaptor available from TAG and SWT amongst others
 
On that SWT bike it looks like the limit of the suspension would be determined by the angle of the lower link, and the angle of the UJ the rear of the paralever - there is probably a foot of space above the rear wheel which will never be used, except for photo opportunistic, that is.
