Going away this week on the adv and taking a topbox and tankbag, is it enough to just adjust the rear spring preload to high?

Went to the I.O.M last month and did'nt adjust anything and the front end was a bit light. Not going to have chance to have a go before going as I don't think I will get my bike back from the garage until the day before!
Done a search but it does'nt really help.

You should be fine with just a bit of rear preload adjustment.



On my 1100`s, even two up with full panniers and top box ,all I`ve ever needed to do is adjust the rear preload by a couple of clicks.
