My 1150 needs an MOT renewal soon.

Never needed an MOT for any vehicle having previously lived in Guernsey.

Any suggestions nearish Haywards Heath/East Grinstead etc ?

Ta muchly feckers

Finns at Redhill There's also a mot place down by the station at H/heath it's where me brother gets his done.

Another vote for Finn's at Redhill - no need to book if you still have a current MoT and open Saturday morning.

Was there last week with the X-Challenge and will be back there this Saturday with the BSA:thumb2

Sorry to jump in ... I will need to MOT a Buell, in or around Brighton

The exhaust is a tad noisy - anyone know of a suitable MOT station

+1 on the Motorcycle Workshop in Bolney. He is a one man band - so you know exactly who will do the work. He took a sympathetic view of the Termignoni on my Ducati. Experienced, wise, trustworthy. What more could you want?

Would you recommend this guy for servicing too? My 650gs should be out of warranty and was after a decent garage to get her serviced? :)

I'm about to trust my Ducati 749 to him for it's big belt change service - so yes I trust him. If in doubt you can always pop in and buy a pair of earplugs from him and get the feel of the place. I like it up there because it reminds me of how bike shops were when I was a kid. There is no smart showroom or customer lounge, just a proper mechanic doing what he has been doing for many years.

Sounds like my kinda place! :) I shall pop down there. It may be hard for him to clear the service reminder that BMW have put on there bikes! :blast If not I shall have to somehow work round that!

Cheers, :)

I always use 'The motorcycle workshop' in Bolney, great service, very thorough, he does everything from classic to modern, and prepares race bikes, so there is always something good to look at while your bikes being MOT'd. Even open on a Sunday.

Had my front tyre (R1200GS) replaced by Tony last weekend. He runs a one man show and his knowledge is second to none on most bikes, a really nice guy.

He has signs made up in the garage wall "£60 per hour for watching him work" "£80 per hour to talk to him whilst he works" :D:D:D

You will need to pre-book him however

Graeme ;)

TPG again on the way to Shoreham on coast road

They have some of the loudest bikes I have ever heard go through there. Used them for MOTs for years - when they really were a back street place.
They never seem to do anything but talk so would not recommend them for servicing
