SUZUKI T500M 1975 (P) in excellent unrestored condition. This is a UK bike from new, still with its handbook, service book and original bill of sale. Its original yellow and black number plate is still fitted. Original paintwork is virtually unmarked. You can see it’s original as the gold stripes are correctly positioned unlike many of the resprayed ones. Chrome is excellent. The engine was professionally overhauled by the legendary Pete O’Dell, proprietor of ‘The Motorcycle Works’ who rebuilt the crankshaft and rebored the barrels. It has covered about 200 miles since this work. Dunlop TT100 tyres. New MotoBatt battery. It is of course a ‘historic’ vehicle, so exempt from tax and MOT. Realistically priced.

Becoming difficult to find an original unrestored UK bike with the associated provenance.

Wow😎 Exactly the same as I had when I was teenager, right down to the tyres😉 but in better condition than mine 50yrs ago.
GLWS.

I learned everything I know about riding like a twat on one just like that.

That is a real beauty and a credit to the previous owners for keeping in such original condition. These 500’s are as torquey as a four stroke, but ride with that lovely ring a ding ding soundtrack. GLWS

Relatively low revving too.

What I liked about this bike was the ‘long’ wheelbase. Slam on the back brake and it rarely slid.

Loved mine
