I think we're long over due another UKGSER SW Chapter Coffee and Cake/Bacon Buttie morning... and I've been prompted

It's a bit posh, but Rise at West Bay does good coffee, not tried the cakes yet. 10:45 on Thursday 15 May, and West Bay is always good for a destination ride and a visit to Helmet City.

I've not booked, but let me know if you think you can make it and I'll drop in and let them know

See you there

Adrian aka Orinoco

NB Get there for 10:30 if you definitely want breakfast as that stops about 11ish

About time too :D, I'll be there.

Might use this event to justify a new bike.......

Yes I know what you mean, it's a bit of a habit. When I say new I mean new to me but usually quite old.

Will DevonAl be turning up on a new Royal Enfield I wonder.
Unfortunately I won’t, I will be away sailing in Greece, been very busy and haven’t done anything about a new bike yet, I have though been given permission from my finance manager to get a new bike before moving the 1200 on so shouldn’t take too long after we get back from Greece and I get to try the Bear & the Himalayan, hope to catch up at the next one.

I look forward to hearing about your sailing trip at the next coffee meet up then.

Just spent the last five days doing my day skipper practice assessment, been sailing for many years but until today I have had no official qualifications.

I did mine in the Solent in about 96. Really enjoyed it.

I will try and make it. Possibly on 4 wheels but will see how things go.

Sorry to miss this but with retirement kicking in next month, I'll be around for future ones.

4 wheels is fine but West Bay parking is expensive, whereas bikes are free. There are some free car spaces on Station Road. Ironically they are opposite the car park entrance. Hope to see you on Thursday.

I have given Steve B a nudge about this and he might be able to make it. I wonder if Lee Bastin has seen this thread yet?

I've only just seen this Mike, unfortunately I'm away camping on that day so can't make it. Hopefully catch you all next time 👍

Sorry Adrian, I'm not going to make this now, due to work pressures.
Hopefully be at the next one.
Apologies, Chris.

Where are you off too Lee? I'll be down in Woodbury at the weekend with the Enfield Devon rally :camping:101:beer:

Was down in Cornwall last weekend with the same 1747125955825.png
