For sale is this SatNav Mount that I had purchased for my GSA back in 2019, so that I could mount my iPhone 7 to the handlebars using Touratech phone holder. Then report started to come through how vibrations from the motor ruining phone cameras, so I have removed the bracket merely 5 days later and it been in my box of bit in the garage ever since.
The mount came from Infinity Motorcycles, which has been shipped in to me, as my local store did not have one in stock, it cost me a whopping £50 back in the day. It did however arrive with black paint chipped, where aluminum clamp had been banging against the paint in transit I guess. Anyway, I tried to return it, but have been refused, and blame was put on me for causing the damage, which isn’t true. The plastic box is lightly battered, so it suggest that the bracket has been moved about for some time.
I dug it out on Saturday, after a bod in here enquired about an option to mount his 4 Button BMW cradle to the handle bars of his F800 GT.
I’ve offered to sell it to him via PM, but the lack of please and thank you, along with telling me what I should be selling it at, put the end to that. I don’t react very well with those who are rude. I am not a faceless Amazon or eBay shop.
I realise that these are available to buy brand new from various online shops nowadays for around £32-£39, some with free shipping others sell it plus shipping.
The mount does come with 4x M4 stainless steel Security Torx washer head screws, washers and nylock nuts. These held my Touratech phone mount in place.
Based on that, I will be happy to accept £20 posted, to anyone who is interested, apart from that rude bod.
I will be leaving for France on Wednesday evening, so if you want it, I can post it before Wednesday. Otherwise you will have to wait until the end of the month.
