SW Motech always seem to hit the nail on the head.....wish those panniers had been around when I bought my 1200.......

The Varios are OK, but..................:mmmm

The Motech ones look great but I wonder if they will they survive an off in the dirt as well as the Varios? Any cost saving can soon become moot if the cases are buggered too easily.

Aparently they're made of 2mm aluminium alloy, so I'd imagine that they'll take a bit of a beating.

Does the left hand pannier have a cut away for the exhaust on the GS. SW Motech photo makes it look a bit lop sided.

No both mount flat to the rails.

Thy offer 2 different sizes to equalize the distance to the edge of each pannier, of course if you want to go for maximum capacity you can do so and to hell with how they look :augie:D

Not sure if people are aware of these new alloy panniers from SW-Motech apparently due out March 2008?

Look remarkably like the 1200 GSA ones. Will be interesting to see final pricing and yet another option for people to choose from.

Is that pannel dstortion where they are riveted? They look like cheep versions of the 1200adv panniers.

I'm sure they'll sell plenty.
