SW Motech Bars & TT Engine Covers

Hi guys,

Does anyone have this combination on their 12gs? I dropped my bike in for it's annual service today and asked the guys to fit the bars and apparently this combination does not work. This is despite SW Motech telling me it would!!!

Can you still get the cylinder head covers off for servicing without having to remove the bars?

nope ... sw motech bars u have to remove to get the rocker covers off ..
the reason they said the combination would work is that the original sw motech bars were very close to the heads and they would have rubbed

but the queston , why both? bit overkill ? one or the other surely

Only because I already have them and it would be nice if they fitted. Also they look pretty cool
