Hi all

I've obtained a 2nd hand set of engine crash bars for my 2004 GS.

I am missing the longer 75mm hex head bolts and frame spacers for the rear lower bars.

Does anybody know where I can get some? I've emailed Sw motech but not had a reply as yet.

Do you think this will be the only source for these?

Thanks

How would we know? Pictures at least needed.

The OEM bars bolt to the front bolt hole but the back just sits into the rear frame lug. It's only bolted once at the bottom end. .

I've got them on my 2017 LC - supplied with some spacers which the '17 doesn't need. What size are you missing? I'll fish mine out and have a measure up tomorrow.

Sorry I've tried to attach a picture to show but it's a Pita as photo bucket is down.

Here is the bolt and spacer in question

Hex head bolt is M12 x 80

Spacer is 28 x 25 x 12.5

Hope this helps

That would be very much appreciated. I hope it's a standard kit and also hoping that Motech will confirm soon.

Well after a visit to my local fastener / engineer store I have now managed to fit my engine crash bars.

I simply ordered the bolts which were M12 x 80 and ordered enough stainless washers of the correct size in order to make a spacer inside the frame.

Total cost £2.00 cash in hand!

Well chuffed with the result.

Thanks all for the suggestions and advice
