Afternoon

Spent some time today fitting them, and thought I'd share a comparison pic.
A doddle to fit and very comfy. This is one of those mods that I'd say do it because you need to (I do with the miles I'm about to do), as they do look bigger, but not to make it ugly by any means - they actually fill the space better and the bracket only comes out about 5mm more. If looks were a factor we'd be on a Multistrada forum :P

About £70 cheaper than the bimmer ones and very well built.

Interesting. What's the overall increase in length - from the pivot hole to the end? I want a longer footrest as I find the tip of the OEM item starts to feel like it's sticking into my instep after a few hours riding.

Very nice.

Not sure fella, I ordered replacement rubbers from them and they were very helpful.

ChazzyB - As I said about 5mm. I can measure exactly tomorrow if you wish, but as you can see from the pic it's not too far longer, width is the main thing. With the wider arch I dont imagine they'd dig in to your instep, but I guess that depends on your footwear.

The rubber area looks to be a similar length, but the main mount/pivot hole to outside end looks much longer. That's what I'd like to know - overall length.

HI Chazzy. The overall length is +15mm over the stock ones. That's with the stock pegs placed at the spring/pivot point.

Hope this helps.

motorcycle road and race run by a mates mate:D,slightly to the left and top floor right next to but nothing to do with jack lilly

and although cheaper than the bmw/gilles ones they are not adjustable for height

they are adjustable for height - if you need to. there is a low and a high position for when you bolt them on to the bracket

ah ok that was not obvious(well to me anyway):thumb

I don't blame you mate. There are so many versions of the different brands, some SWM in silver and in a bronzey colour, then some BMW ones the same, pre LC, post LC, adjustable, fixed, with brackets pictured and others without - it's hard to know which ones are which!

I went for the BMW pegs, they are also a good option (albeit a bit pricey).

I find the rear brake now requires more ankle travel for the same braking effect. I need to investigate adjusting the brake pedal.
