SW Motech pannier frames and akrapovic exhaust

I recently got a bmw akrapovic exhaust as a replacement to the stock in an insurance claim, and it's transformed the bike.

But I've just tried to put on the pannier frames (sw-motech) on the bike and they exhaust side doesn't fit.

Has anyone else had this problem? I'm guessing I'll need to get the frame arm adjusted/bent/modified to fit? or can the akra can be adjusted in position?

Have you tried slackening off the exhaust hanger bracket (both ends) and also slackening the slip-joint for the can/cat outlet - and try to rotate the can clear of the pannier frame?

SWMotech have new frames out for their EVO series that fit fine. These frames will also take the previous quick-release adapters which I presume your are using at the moment.
