Finally arrived so I had the task of removing the pannier adapter doodahs with the electrics plus the OEM rack also with its electrics. Wasn’t too hard to be fair.

Fitting the new stuff was a piece of cake as you’d expect although the upper crash bar bolt is a bastard to get to to tighten as the bar sits really close to the mounting hole.

Where did you unplug the OEM pannier carriers? Under the seat or inside carriers?

No errors caused by unplugging them ?

I’m looking at the Trax panniers at the moment so will be doing similar

So there’s 3 looms coming out where the tail tidy thing is which then spider out, 1 up to the top box and one each side for the pannier adapters.

They can all be unplugged from the respective bit which then leaves 3 male plugs dangling so I put some tape over the ends and tucked all 3 inside the tail tidy “tunnel” as there’s plenty of room in there as it’s just the wiring for the lights and radar.
