Sorry another light thread! Has anyone used or have any experience with the sw motech fog lights I noticed that hein gericke stock them for £151 a pair they look quality bit of kit.

I just recently got a set of these myself, took a chance getting them , and they are def worth it.

Very well put together and good quality materials.
Real easy to instal, from box to bike in about 30-40 min
the lights themselves were a little bigger than I expexted but they suit the bike. all wiring supllied with a relay.
now the strength of the light isnt extreme, but I didn’t get it for night time riding or for use in fog, I got it so I might stand out a bit more going down the road and that guy ( u Know the guy !!) comin out the side junction might just take a second look to see me before he swings out on the road in front of me, not funny how many time this has happened..

you will need to get the mounting bar aswell , which attaches nicely with 2 bolts.
there is also a switch that can be mounted to the handlebar, but I don’t use it, I have the lights powered through a Fuzeblock, so bike on/lights on.

IMHO these lights are the way to go, very happy with them, u could go out and pay twice the price for other lights but I doubt they will be twice as good.

im from Ireland , so i got them from Maddocks in Bray.

cost 39.95 euro. (more than whats quoted on the german site, but hey im irish & well used to payin more..)

Light Mount

felt I was a bit flush the week I ordered, so I got the guards for the light as well, they look really good and should protect the lens, but felt, as I was putting them on , this is something that should have come with them instead of me payin extra to have them

Guard Set

but all n all, they still worked out a lot cheaper that other sets of aux lights i seen.

by the way, if ya ar goin to get the lights, get the mount bar not the clamps that attach to the engine bar, hearing for guys, the vibrations of the engine can blow the bulbs, dont know how true that is, but if im tellin lies, iv been told lies :nenau
