I have an 07 X-country and need to swap out my rear subframe for the later 09 unit. I'm going around Europe with my partner and lots of luggage (women like luggage) and don't fancy trusting the 07 alloy unit. I was going to buy the steel Touratech unit but it does not have the capacity for rear footpegs which also defeats my point.
I guess the earlier unit is a fair bit lighter and also has the capability to have the rear footpegs removed so those things might be a benefit to some people but exactly what i don't need. If anyone would like to swap out my unit (good condition, no damage) for theirs (condition unimportant as I will probably repaint it) then please reply here or on my mobile, 07872570895 to see if we can come to a deal. If anyone knows of a breaker with one please let me know also.
