I have a black engined 1150 GSA, and I was wondering if it was possible to swap the swingarm for a black Rockster item, which I happen to have in the garage from a past love?

Swing arms were uniform across the GS/RS/RT and R/Rockster models, so yes.

No, but I’ve just rediscovered 2 GS tanks in black, a pair of GS seats and a few GSA screens, 2 full pale blue fork legs, 1 dark blue fork slider, a GS gearbox, a pair of twin-plugged 1100S cylinder heads with secondary plug covers and new head gaskets, a GS wiring loom, a set of GS headlights, 3 silencers and a couple of new silencer sleeves, an 1100 exhaust (headers and decat link pipe), a pair of standard GS wheels, 2 front and 1 rear alloy wheels, some GS Tobinators, an autoswitch device, a heated grip handlebar and a non-heated grip handlebar, a Renthal fat bar, 2 GS cat converters, a GSXR600 stubby exhaust, 2 OEM paralever arms (one shorter than the other), 2 sets of rocker covers and gaskets, 3 panniers and a right side global pannier lid.Paul will know and have lots of them in his garage roof

Ooh, yes, there’s an abs unit in there somewhere. I planned to send it away for fixing but just haven’t bothered. Now I have the 1250 forks and an 1100S final drive fitted, abs isn’t feasible so I’ll try and remember to add it to the stuff for the tip.I know someone on here (you know who you are) who also has a garage full of GS/GSA parts, everything labelled and lots in plastic boxes, a few spare ABS units, panniers, seats etc etc
Memory like a sieve - there’s a set of Touratech engine bars and a standard GS sump guard that are now spoken for and a pair of OEM shocks I have stashed on top of the freezer. There’s also a rebuilt standard GS final drive and a starter motor awaiting attention. There may still be more…

I reckon I could make at least 5/6 GS’s from all the parts I’ve accumulated over the years.
Had a result this afternoon. Needed a rear brake master cylinder, for a customers bike, I thought “I saw one of those last week” when I was searching for something entirely different .. guess what, I put my hand straight on it instead of spending an hour searching for it, which is most unusual
