Switch wiring colours

Can anyone advise please ;

I am using standard external BMW switch (part No 61 31 7 658 473) to fit some ff50's.

I have heard the colours may be different than expected on the lead (brown / earth?) Can any one clarify please.

BM aux switch wire colours

sussed it - for those that need to know;

brown - ignition feed
yellow / purple - 86 relay switch
blue / white - earth

only took 5 fuses to get it right!

Lights! Camera, Action..........
