Guys,
Just changed from a Twin Cam to a Water Cooled GS.
I know the new WC has a BMW supplied 12volt fitting for powered accessories.
Does anyone know whether the WC has a separate power supply plug (same as the previous model) that I can fit the NN power supply lead to power my cigarette lighter socket.
I am aware that I can buy the BMW Din adapter to cigarette socket, but was hoping to utilise the stuff off the Twin Cam.
Thanks.

I have no idea what a NN power supply lead is, nor how it connects to your cigarette lighter socket. I guess I could Google both to work it out but I can't be bothered.

Irrespective, your new WC steed will have more than enough switched positive feeds that you can tap into to connect your cigarette lighter to, without a doubt. A really simple example would be the rear light as it switches on an diff with the ignition.

Look at your bike. Look for an auxiliary socket. On earlier models there was one under the seat, if BMW haven't got rid of it in a cost and weight saving exercise. Can you use that, somehow? If not, you are bound to find something. For instance, they must power the all but standard GPS somehow. Track down that feed, perhaps? It might require chopping the end off your Norman, but it will be worth it.

In answer to your first query, the only p.s. is the one on the dash and if your power supply lead is of the type that plugs into the back of said p.s. skt then the lead might not be long enough to get to where you want another skt( but could be extended).

I fitted a NN switched fuseblock under the pillion seat and power all my accessories from that.
