Any updates Engineer Itook my bike to pieces would be handy to get an update.....................

OK back from NYC still jet lagged but been into the garage and given the bike a good gander - left switches defo touch tank when set to 0 degree position, not good!, in fact bad, very bad, the baddest
So I got out the Torx set and me torque wrench and set then bars to half way between 0 and 10, now there is acres of space.
Conclusion- the scribed 0 degree position leaves the possibility of the switches touching and marking the tank - this needs to be pointed out in the manual, maybe standard bikes without fewer switches are OK?
P.S. It only takes a tiny adjustment to make a big difference.
Told you so, mine is set a 10 from the shop floor

I used to dispatch in the City in the 80's on a Kwak GT550. Handlebar muffs in the winter, and full lock to the left your horn went off, and full lock to the right you'd hit the kill switch.
Worse case was full right lock, engine cut, fall off bike, bike lock flicks to full left as it falls over and it lies on the floor with the horn on full chat and every body looking at you ....![]()
Nice one Giles was it a blue and white one............
All Blue! Carbs used to ice up in the winter first thing until I got into the Blackwall tunnel which always sorted it out !
