Hey fella, want to read wot you wrote and have another go?
Request looks like riding around London for three days.
Just sayin.

Most of the interesting roads will be closed.
Sounds like a lot of motorways for not much at the end of it.

Unless you have a specific reason to be there for a for a few hours.

It could be cold, but may not be. In any event the Swiss are expectedly efficient at clearing the rouads.

And exceptionally good at emptying your wallet for speeding, overtaking tractors, buying a cup of coffee and not having a motorway carnet.

If what you where after was a 3 day trip over the water with roads that are clear at that time of the year ,I'd be tempted to head to the Southern Ardennes or maybe eifel region.

You are joking aren't you?
We were there two weeks ago.
Snow over the Nufenen Pass then stuck behind a snowplough clearing the road up the Furka Pass.
Down to about 1.5Deg C and not much fun!

Book more time off work and go to Spain or Morocco.:thumb

3 days,round trip,Switzerland, Nov/Dec. For sure this is a :augie

Could be cold... Any specific dates in mind yet?

Need to go there for some work and thought I could combine it with a ride. But asking for too much.
Probably me being too eager to test my new bike. I better wait till spring time

I go over to Geneva regularly as my in-laws live there. You could find it is:

A: Lovely, cold and clear - the sort of dry cold that takes your breath away a bit! The roads can be quite clean and dry over the Jura and you would have much fun (once you've trudged across through France)
OR
B: Fookin horrible - I've been caught out by sudden snowfalls a few times. They all have winter tyres fitted to their cars, I don't so it can be a bit scary for 24 hours until the roads are cleared properly.

In Nov/Dec the chances of B are much higher than A which is why I always go in the car :beerjug:

Have decided against it and instead will wait until spring.
