syncing Android to Outlook on pc - whats the best option...

Hi,

Just switched to an Android phone - from your experience- which is the best app/programme to simply sync contacts, calendar and maybe notes? there are several out there - but all seem to want a subscription.
happy to plug in via usb - not too keen on doing it over the cloud.

any recommendations?

I use GO Contact Sync Mod, which is open source and therefore free (see here for details and link to download). It does a great job of syncing contacts. I haven't used it for syncing the calendar, but I think it will do this also.

Not with Outlook 2016 on the pc!! used to be dead easy - but the latest versions have no compatibility!

I have just moved my contacts from Windowsphone 10 to android without issue. Where contacts were held in Outlook
