For those who do there own servicing ...

Castrol syntrax has been deleted from the BMW OEM Part finder

Its been replaced with Synthetic OSP ....

(No idea what the actual spec is for this, although its used arccos both cars & Bikes)

Syntrax is becoming hard to find off the shelf, and where you can the price is creeping up.

Opie oils do Syntrax long-life, but charge for P&P...

However if you buy via Ebay ... from Opie oils you pay £1 more but its free P&P

:) Still cheaper than the main site

Mart

On Opie main site don't forget to put ukgser in as promotional code for even more discount. Knocks off 10% before vat. Just ordered 3 ltr. delivered for £40.94.

i have just bought a 20ltr drum for £66 quid,should last a while i reckon

With a gearbox change 800ml every 24,000miles and FD 200ml at 12,000miles 20 litres of oil is going to last, umm aah err....a very long time.
