Cheers

Dunno, but I've just bought a 'double glazed' BMW visor for mine (£60), and it is AMAZING. I can cough at 6 degrees C and my glasses don't even steam up. Cool.

(Will have to see how it performs when it gets close to zero though).

Go for the BMW double glazing. I've used one for a year now and no misting, fogging or starring like you get with the fog city.

Double Glazing

I agree the BM unit is tops, is it available in the UK now? It didn't used to be, I got mine in Germany - no bloody cheaper than the £60 quid quoted here though.

The fog city will fit but you have to use a very narrow one due to the double curvature of the visor so you can get a "letter box" effect - OK unless you pop the visor for a bit more fresh air then you can end up looking through the glued edges.

I'd definately go for the BM unit if buying again & if you use an ordinary visor in the summer when you dont need the antimist effect it keeps the dearer double skinned unit lasting longer, so unless you do a very high mileage (or are dim enough to clean it with something akin to a brillo pad) you should get a couple of winters out of it - the Yorkshireman in me speaks!

Tried a Fogcity on mine. Great at keeping the visor clear. Kept it on for a week until I went out at night. The reflections were unbelievable, multiple headlights and road lights. Came straight off while I was out.

Hi,
Any suggestions where I can get a 'double glazed' visor from?

I'd just about sussed that one.

I thought it fairly obvious that I would be asking that questio to see if anyone new of any OTHER suppliers (who could well be cheaper).
