System 5 visors

Dutchmans thread got me thinking again... does BMW make a dual visor (clear and shaded) add-on to the System 5 like the Caberg or something similar... I'm sure I remember reading a list which talked about a dual visor, as well as a double glazed one? Or am I just dreaming?

Also anyone got the double glazed visor? Does it make much of a difference?

The "Dual" visor is the double glazed one, AFAIK, no experience of that actual visor, but I use double glazed lenses in my goggles and they work very well indeed. They are rather expensive though.
I have just had to buy a new clear visor for mine after standing on the old one and breaking the mounting off

I've got both a "double glazed" visor and a dark one, which I had to get sent over from Eire as they don't sell them in the UK....
Double glazed visor works a treat, stays fog free. Only problem is some minor refraction of lights at night, but then you get that with both pinlock and fog city anyway...

Righto cheers for that! I had an idea there wasnt a twin visor option, couldnt see where it would have gone! Shame, especially considering our strange laws regarding tinted visors!

Might look at the dual one come winter time tho!
