thinking of buying a system 5 helmet,
has anyone else bought one, are they worth the 500 euro they cost in dublin ??

Yep, I have bought mine last march in Joe Duffy.
It was 540euro. Expensive, but Very Good

I bought one recently, very happy with fit, noise, visor although it has yet to be tested in rain (riyadh, y'know...). However, the drop-down sunshield in my Schuberth is a seriously useful gizmo and I miss it.

Very happy with mine, good fit,quiet, good in the rain, as long as you are moving, streets ahead of the system 4, the only minor gripe so far is the noise of the chin vent. Top vents really work and the lining is much more comfortable in hot weather.

540 euros ... by my calculator thats rather more than you would pay in the UK ... by a lot of money ...
