System 6 and iPhone

Hi,
I have just bought myself an new BMW system 6 helmet and realised that my Scala rider headset wont fit!!!! I have been reading through some posts here and at ADVrider that says that the BMW bluetooth headset will cost about €300 and is NOT compatible with TomTom Rider 2!!!!! Hmmmmm!
Does anyone have any experience of the system 6 bluetooth comms. and an iPhone? What is the sound quality like? Will the TomTom app on the iPhone work through the headset?
I dont mind to flog my TomTom Rider to raise the cash to pay for the Headset to hear my music etc...... but would be gutted to know that the iPhone TomTom doesn't work.
Any experience?

Why won't the Scala fit the System 6? If it's just the microphone is too short get the Scala replacement long boom mic for Schuberth and BMW flip fronts.

Hi,
The internal visor slider is placed on the left side of the helmet right where I would place the Scala and I cant find a way to get the clamp inside the helmet without cutting through the material! The mike is, as you mentioned, also too short.

I was in the Stealership 'tother day talking about this and they said that Scala make a specfic one for BMW and thats the one they sell for use with the System 6.
