System 6 Fogging

I have a System 6 Helmet and had to have the inner tinted visor replaced due to what I can only call a smeggy, fogging effect on the inner surface.

This has not occured on the clear visor! and only smears when wiped, making it worse.

Whilst waiting for a replacement to arrive, my dealer lent me one to tied me over, this did exactly the same thing.

I also noticed that when the inner visor is up, the airlfow over my head from the open air vents is considerably reduced.

As my dealer did'nt seem to know what was causing it, I wonder if anyone else has experienced the same problem to what is otherwise a brilliant helmet.

Nope, can't say I've noticed it. If anything, I find mine almost too well ventilated and have covered the top holes with the foam bits as it's too draughty.....maybe it's the lack of hair with me though....

I've not checked but I suppose the inner visor may block off part of the vent holes in the top when it's closed?

I get exactly the same thing. No idea what is causing it. Did you get a new visor and did it help?
