Can anyone tell me if the number marked in the polystyrene inside the system 6 helmet (side of head above ear) relates to the size of shell? Just bought a 58/59 Which is normally a large, after trying one on in shop which felt perfect and the one that turned up mail order feels too tight. The number ends with M which suggests a medium? but sticker and box confirms 58/59. The label attached is marked 62/63! Someone at the factory having a bad day perhaps?
My question may be answered if anybody else has a 58/59 with something different marked inside, or any other size with sizes matching up to the number eg 56/57 with M, or 60/61 being XL?
If not it's a long drive to the nearest dealer with my 'effing tape measure!

Mine is marked the same on the outside as it is inside (see pics)
Unfortunately i cant find the box, SWMBO must have put it in a safe place, not bad when you think of the size of the box :blast

Buz, Thanks for doing that for me. I didn't see any label like yours, but having pulled the lining out again I found a well hidden label (different to yours) which does say 58/59, so it must be correct. Did yours loosen up after a while? It's certainly a snug fit, but I wouldn't say with any discomfort, but very little room around the chin. Reminds me of that film, Man in the Iron Mask!

My system 5 was very tight for a week or so, enough to have me thinking I'd made a serious error of judgement. Ten it just seemed to bed in and fit a treat.

The deep trench in my forehead is a useful talking point among new friends:toungincheek

I think i'm between sizes, this one does slightly move forward and back! top of the visor opening seems to rest on my glasses at times but fits ok everywhere else, I wondered if there was any way of changing any of the padding inside to make it a snugger fit?
The next size down was too small, like others say, it seems like different helmets fit different head shapes better :D
