I have a BMW System 6 helmet to which I will need to attach a Bluetooth headset (probably a BT 500m)... I understand from reading other posts that the supplied clamp won't work because the liner is attached right to the bottom edge of the lid. Some advice says ditch the clamp, shave off the mounting posts on the BT unit and stick it to the helmet with double sided pads. I was always told NEVER put any adhesives paint etc on a helmet cos it can weaken the shell... Any suggestions on 'safe' helmet adhesive pads?... Many thanks

I keep my Bluetooth Interphone 4 in my inside jacket pocket and not fixed to my Evo 6 helmet - works fine!

scala riders come with and you can re order GLUE CLAMP mounts precisely for schuberth/bmw lids so its a known issue, sena also provide something similar AFAIK.
Be surprised if theres not an OEM bt solution, hope this helps

I've had a Sena SMH10 fixed to my System 6 for 3-4 years and it hasn't done any damage to the helmet or come unstuck and I've used it in all weathers. Obviously there are some things not to do to a helmet but in my experience the sticky pads supplied by SENA are safe.
