I have been given a set of System Panniers but I'm not sure what the left pannier will fit. Is there anybody on here who can identify the cutaway and which model it is for? I don't think it will fit the GS?

Thanks,

Andy

PS Any idea what they are worth?

Looks just like my GS one...from memory. ( I`m in work at the moment )

The 850/1100R model panniers are the same as the 850/1100/1150GS as far as I know...

That looks like a mirror image of the RHS pannier that fits the 1100 / 1150 GS. Guess its for a bike with high level exhausts like an 1100S

That's a full size left hand pannier. It will definitely fit an R1100/1150 RS model & also, I believe, the R1100/1150RT. I've got a set from my old R1100RS. They go on flea-bay for £120 to £150 is slightly scuffed used condition.

You could use it on your GS but you would need to lower the angle of your exhaust can using a Wudo bracket or similar. As it happens I've got a used one that I would sell for £50 of your English pounds + postage.

:)

Thanks for all the replies.

Tarka, I appreciate you taking the time to reply considering what you are feeling about your neighbour at the moment - my thoughts are with you.

Andy,
Thank you for your comments. I`ve been on the site a lot today, even though I`ve been in work, and both factors have helped me to focus my mind a bit.
All the support from the UKGSers has been a massive help and support.
What you say about this site is very true.
Thanks to all.

I appear to have got my memory of my own pannier shape wrong, however.
Sorry I was of no use to you.

Steve.
