I'm about to put my surplus-to-requirements System Panniers on the market. They're the black plastic ones with the "Touring" badge.

I have the bare Frames / Rails as well (item (2) below) but no other fittings to include with the sale. I'm also not sure what comes with the bike and what comes with the Pannier kit. Could someone take a look at the following diagrams and answer a few questions please.

* Is the spacer (3) always required? Is it for a particular model? I don't seem to have any to sell on. Any advice here?

* Does the stock 1150GS come with the bolts in place in the holes, or are they supplied with the pannier kit?

* I understand the size of bolt (4) is M6X35. Is this correct?

* What is the size for bolt (5)?

* The BMW parts list only shows one version (LH and RH) of the "pillion footrest bracket". Can someone confirm that the original pillion footrests brackets supplied with the bike are the same whether or not you have the system panniers? I.e. can I assume any purchaser with a 1150GS will already have the necessary bit sticking out of their pillion footrest bracket?

Thanks for your time.

Rob

The footrest brackets come with the bike.. all standard, so anyone buying system panniers should only need the (plastic) pannier rails, (though mine did have them fitted as standard).
