System Panniers

I've got an 1150 with BMW system panniers, and need more storage. Is there a top box that matches the BMW panniers or should I go for a tank bag?

There is a top box, but the lock doesn't match the ignition key.

I thinks it's about 36ltr, and will just hold one F/F helmet.

If I was looking for a top box now, I'd probably go down the Givi route.....cheaper, bigger and as well made.

There is also the mog that allows a 'full' size left hand pannier, from an RT.
Add a stubby and a couple of supports on the new pannier....

I have system panniers also.. however they don't live on the bike. I only use them for touring etc.

When I was looking for a top-box, I wanted one that can (and now does) live on the bike.. And went for the silver Gobi. Main reason for that is as its silver it won't get HOT in the sun.. I couldn't care less that it doesn't match the panniers to be quite honest.

And my reasoning has proved correct... in blazing sun whereas the panniers get VERY hot. the top box doesn't.. it gets warm... the inside remains cool. Which is exactly what I want.
