System Topbox

I know there have been other threads on the security of BMW topboxes but I am now concerned as to what my other half is going to look like after she falls base over apex off the back of the bike when the box fails.

Has any one bolted theirs direct to the rack, if so how and where, or is it a case of purchasing a BMW specific set of bolts?

Seen something on adv rider where u-bolts were used.

I've a similar box - no problems to date but I'm happy to fix the thing more permanently and will be using some 1/4" bag ties - drill through bottom of box and zip to the carrier

If yours is being used as back rest I would use something more substantial - bolts and plates or u-bolts

You could always get a refund from BMW and get a GIVI.
